Letter from the President: March 2024

Dear Ladies,

March has arrived, the month that marks the end of winter and the beginning of spring, the season in which nature is reborn and you want to be outdoors to enjoy the scent of the first flowers and the warmth of the sun.

During the month of March we give some attention to all of the amazing accomplishments of determined women around the world. Since 1909, March 8th – the International Women’s Day – is celebrated to remember the social, economic and political achievements that women in different parts of the world have reached. Every woman has a story to tell and gifts to share with the world.

On March 8th we have organized a delicious women’s lunch. Having the chance to spend some time together is a great way to reconnect and recognize the strength and the power of us as women!
In our club we have ladies from different countries, cultures and ages, everyone brings something new. Diversity makes the club more interesting and exciting. I would like to thank each of our members for her contribution, enthusiasm and time. What better monthly bulletin to do this in than the March one, during the month that celebrates women!

This year March hosts another important celebration: Easter. Easter falls on Sunday, March 31st. The Easter date is variable since it coincides with the Sunday following the spring full moon. Easter is one of the most important holidays of the year in Italy, it marks the beginning of the warm-season and outdoor activities. From north to south popular festivals, concerts, religious processions are some of the events organized. Last but not least delicious food is prepared during the Easter time! On behalf of the board, I wish you all Happy Easter!

So get ready, because this month is about honoring magnificent ladies and, as the club, we are ready to celebrate it at the fullest.

We have prepared various events balancing art, culture, art, gastronomy, beauty and wellness. The calendar is very rich. In the bulletin there is a complete list of activities and events. Please remember to register in advance with the respective event’s organizer, to all the events you are interested in.

The monthly networking aperitivo will not take place because of the Easter holidays when people might be busy with traveling and families commitments.
